Extreme sports being extremely competitive, has become one of the most-watched sports in the winter Olympics and draw many people to the event. Canada has been making records in the winter Olympics, but it also hosted the Olympic winter games in Calgary in 1988 and Vancouver in 2010. At the Olympic Winter Games, Canada won various medals with 73 gold, 64 silver, and 62 bronze medals from 1924 until 2022. Canada has competed at every single Winter Olympic Games event and won at least one award. 2018 saw the country show their strengths by winning over 29 medals in the event with its best performance and set new records for most gold medals won by a country in a single winter Olympics event. Athlete management has become much more popular among college studies with all the athletes in extreme sports. Canada has done well with the Winter Olympics; these are some extreme sports categories. Bobsleigh  Bobsleigh games have been popular among Canadian Olympic teams. Canada won five medals in the game, the first being won by Vi Emery’s four-person bobsleigh team in Innsbruck during the 1964 Winter Olympic Games. The latest medal in Bobsleigh was in 2018, which saw a tie between Canadian Justin Krupp’s Team and Alex Kovacs’s German team. Snowboarding Snowboarding was started in Canada and is still one of the most popular extreme sports. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Canadian snowboarder Max Parrot won Canada’s first gold medal in snowboarding for the Olympics. This has brought hopes for further records in snowboarding for Canada and the Olympics. Skeleton  The skeleton game has seen Canada win two gold medals, one silver and one bronze. In 2006 Mellissa Hollingsworth Richards won Canada’s first medal in the match with Duff Gibson, later becoming the first Canadian to win a gold medal in the sport with the men’s division. In 2010 the Vancouver Olympic games saw Jon Montgomery win gold in the men’s event. With so many records and medals that Canada has won over the past years at the Winter Olympics, things can only get better with further achievements in extreme sports....

Bungee Jump in Nanaimo  Bungee jumping is probably not known as being an extreme sport by many people. But especially in Canada, it is taken quite seriously, with many people indulging in bungee jumping as an extreme sport. Taking part in any of these extreme sports in Canada can be enjoyed throughout most cities and provide you with great fun and entertainment.
